Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: circa £40,000-£45,000 per annum plus study support and benefits package

The Client:

A young dynamic Vegan business with a current headcount of 25 staff, a proven track record of significant growth year on year, now seeking to recruit an outstanding Finance Manager with entrepreneurial flair who will be instrumental in the strategic evolution of the business now and for future growth.

These are exciting times working alongside both David and Alan who have a proven track record of realising true potential within their employees and businesses.

Role Profile:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and associated analysis for multiple businesses in the Group
  • Reconciliation & month end close procedures
  • Forecasting
  • Budgeting
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset register
  • Management of cashflows
  • VAT reconciliation
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for annual audit
  • Work with the Production Team and managing the KPI’s, Costings and Margins
  • Management of stock
  • Reviewing and upgrading current accounting processes and procedures
  • Managing a project to calculate the costs of moving to a new purpose-built office
  • Upgrade and manage the implementation of a new accounting system

Person Profile:

  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to work with a variety of Stakeholders up to Board level
  • Proven IT Skills ideally Sage and Excel
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Part qualified/QBE (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Able to prioritise and balance day to day duties
