Production Planner - Rugby

The Role: Production Assistant/Pre-fab planner

Shift: 0700-1630 Mon to Fri subject to change to 0730-1700

Location: Rugby

Status: Permanent

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 DOE

The Position: An integral position within a fast-moving SME business, you will play a pivotal role in the communication between Production and Sales. Core responsibilities will include and not be limited to:

• Inputting jobs/data onto a PC from a bar bending schedules
• Allocating jobs to lines/machines
• Ensure production is working to schedule
• Communication with production managing progress schedules
• Solution based thinking in overcoming production challenges
• Liaise with sales staff in the planning and timelines of specific jobs relating to customer orders
• Keeping track of production/pre-fab levels
• General Administration tasks
• Sage checking
• Recording bar deliveries 
• Checking/Reading drawing from engineers
• Designing beams from engineer’s drawings for welders to work from
• Responsible for timesheets and HPT records
