My client is seeking to recruit an outstanding Project Manager who can deliver projects

which will be on-time, on budget and result in creating/retaining business.

The fundamentals of the role:

  • Taking a full project brief from the Account Manager
  • Set out the project scope and schedule
  • Set out initial specifying brief to assist designers
  • Arrange meetings with designers to build a solution that will fully meet the customers brief.
  • Through liaising with the designers, suppliers and production, create an estimate for the project ready for the relevant AM to review.
  • Create a well-presented proposal that can be presented to the client.
  • On completion of the specification, liaise with suppliers to purchase all required items.
  • Communicate to logistics if any transport needs arranging.
  • Arrange a discussion with Production to get the project booked into production.
  • Follow the project through, keeping the various departments involved on schedule and holding progress meetings where necessary.
  • Throughout the duration of the project, keep open/active dialogue with suppliers, to ensure goods arrive as expected and on time.
  • Through the duration of fulfillment of the project, keep a constant track of specified GP over against actual GP.
  • Throughout the duration of the project keep the client and account manager informed of the progress on a regular basis.
  • On successful completion of a project, hand this over to the client-this may require site visits-and inform the AM.
  • Deal with any issues relating to the project through to resolution
  • At the end of a project draw up a project conclusion, confirm the final actual GP and close the job off.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong Project Management and Purchasing skills.
  • Skilled in time and task management.
  • Dedication to detail and a committal to take responsibility for projects
  • Needs to be able to work well with a Team.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to carry out assignments through to completion.
