Salary £20,000-£23,000 DOE

An amazing luxury design business with an exciting new opening for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established finance team.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience within purchase ledger, possess good communication and organisational skills and be familiar with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The role will be within a team environment working closely with the Finance Director to ensure that the purchase ledger process and objectives are achieved.  You will demonstrate full ownership of the purchase ledger and the processes around it, including but not limited to:

  • ensuring accuracy of inputs and invoices
  • updating and ensuring suppler terms are correct and payments are made at the appropriate times
  • resolution of credit and debit note queries
  • preparation of monthly supplier statements
  • payment of invoices by BACS, CHAPS and cheque
  • completion of month end reconciliations and reports
