The Role: TIG Welder

Hourly Rate: £9.00-£12.50phr DOE

Location: Northampton

Shift: Starting on days for training:

Hours 0700-1530 Monday to Thursday. Friday 0700-1500 Friday

Once trained:

15.00-23.30 Monday to Thursday.15.00-23.00 Friday

The Client:

Our fabulous Client who has been trading successfully for over 30 years and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding Bead Blast Operative for their site in Northampton. The client is recognised as a World Class provider in sheet metal fabrication, precision machined components and mechanical assemblies.

The Scope of Opportunity

A precision manufacturer that continues to grow and invest is looking for a TIG Welder to carry out multiple functions, which include covering the Ishida uplift and new Dacs project.

Some manufacturing and previous TIG welding experience are essential and would be reflected in the rate. Opportunities to advance are available and additional training will be given as part of the role.

Skills & Experience

You will be self-motivated able to carry out multiple roles, have a high attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly with members of the team.

Must be able to

  • Achieve targeted production based on job running times
  • Adhere to all company policies and instructions

Experience in the following would be an advantage

  • Read engineering drawings
  • Experience in sheet metal/ machining processes
  • Experience in the TIG Welding department.
