TPM Engineer

Coventry

£35-£40k DOE

Shift: 36 hour per week Friday & Saturday 0545-1815 Sunday 0745-2015 plus O/T

My prestigious client (top 50 fastest-growing companies in Coventry and Warwickshire) is now seeking to recruit an exceptional Weekend TPM Engineer to join their high performing team

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct TPM activities to a high standard
  • Highlight improvements to relevant TPM standards
  • Identify difference to the expected condition of equipment suggest improvements where applicable
  • Update required documentation accurately and promptly
  • Review site Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) for allocated task and action / update appropriately
  • Implements programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness
  • Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
  • Maintains safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimise unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prepares reports, analyses data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operation and solving maintenance related problems
  • Ensures all contractors are qualified and insured to work

Ideal Person Specification:

  • Excellent time keeping, attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Previous experience in a maintenance capacity in a manufacturing environment
  • Detailed knowledge of maintenance processes
  • Proven evidence of a hands-on approach in previous roles
  • Experience within continuous improvement environment
  • Relevant engineering qualification
  • Exposure to a polyurethane or similar industry preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and report data effectively
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proven ability of meeting and exceeding internal and external stakeholder requirements
  • Ability to adapt and respond to change
