The Role: Blind Fitter
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £38k to £40k plus overtime and time and one half
Status: Permanent
Hours: 0600-1500 start and finish times dependant upon location. Generally, within a 40-mile radius of site location.
Your Mission: Carryout specialist installations of blinds, curtains, and cubicle tracks either alone or as part of a team to a high standard whilst ensuring installations are on time. You will be required to collect blinds and necessary fixings, equipment, components, and paperwork to complete a day’s work.
You’ll be a key part of the Installs teams making sure both the client and our team are clear about what is happening, installation progress and making sure any installation problems are relayed back to the project manager and solved quickly.

The Position:
- Maintaining communication to the project manager and the client onsite.
- Ensure installation is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Explore all options and solutions when a problem arises.
- Adhere to onsite code of conduct and health and safety.
- Ensure site is left clean and tidy.
- Looking after your company van, tools, and equipment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Highly organised
- In depth product knowledge regarding the fitting of blinds, curtains, and cubicle tracks with around 5 years of experience
- Demonstrate practical ability across all tools and fixings.
- Ability to find solutions on the run and think on your feet.
- Ability to confidently support and guide a team if needed.
- A great people person who can work well with all types of people.
- Flexible and able to do whatever is required to achieve deadlines.
- An excellent communicator, both in written and spoken forms.
- Self-motivated
- Punctual
