The Client:

A new opening of a four-star independent boutique hotel with 22 luxurious bedrooms.

The Role:

We are actively seeking a skilled full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and maintain a high level of customer service standards, as well as supervising all food & beverage operations throughout the hotel and the restaurant & bar team members. Assistance is also required with the control of stock and revenue and you will also assist the Assistant Manager with all team training and appraisal process.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor you will be responsible for…

• Leading a highly engaged food & beverage team to ensure an inspiring guest experience where high standards are delivered at all times

• Maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding the restaurant & bar menus to advise guests and team members accordingly

• Encourage and inspire the restaurant & bar team members, developing their knowledge food & beverages, and helping them to contribute to the overall guest experience

• Ensure that every effort is made to achieve budgeted sales and operational expenses, whilst building upon the reputation of the hotel

• Oversee the restaurant & bar team and ensure smooth running of service

The Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in a high quality and busy 4 or 5-star hotel environment with a genuine interest or desire to progress in hospitality

• Have excellent food & beverage knowledge

• Share your passion of food & drink with our guests and the team

• Share results and feedback regularly with the department and identify the opportunities to improve service levels. Experienced in stock ordering and stock management in a food & beverage environment

• Have a good understanding of the importance of effective health and safety management

• Communication is key and that means with other team members, clients and our suppliers

• Ability to build relationships with customers to achieve guest satisfaction

• Recognising the importance of developing your team who will play an essential part in the overall guest experience

• Passionate about guest service and ability to lead from the front

• Due to the beautiful location of the property it can be difficult to reach by public transport, therefore access to your own transport is advisable
