Job Title: Forklift Warehouse Operator

Location: Swadlincote

Pay Rate: £14.75phr Rate includes holiday pay!

Status: Long Term Temporary - Possibly leading to a permanent position!

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 1.30pm - Overtime availbale but not guaranteed!

About the Role

We are currently seeking to recruit a reliable and experienced Forklift /Warehouse Operator to join our team on a temporary basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and distributed safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and is available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries and checking items against paperwork.
• Accurately record stock movements and update inventory systems.
• Prepare and stage goods for dispatch.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.
• Carry out general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
• Valid forklift licence, operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move, load, and unload goods.

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) 
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Basic IT/computer skills for stock entry
• Ability to lift and move goods safely
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively.
• Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts if required.
