Overview
Our prestigious client located in Coventry is seeking an exceptional talented individual for a newly created role:
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, we require an experienced Fitter who can work in a team-based environment, working on a line with the capability to maintain and deal with breakdowns.
Ideally you will be “hands on” an experienced production line fitter/engineer from a manufacturing environment or alternatively you should have a qualification in Engineering.
You will be a hardworking, flexible & dedicated team player who is willing to adapt to the everchanging needs of the business with a key priority of reducing downtime in order to increase productivity on a fast-moving production line.
To be considered it is essential that you meet the following requirements
Person Specification
- Happy to work as part of the Production Team on a fast-moving line whilst also being able to support the Engineering Department in maintenance and breakdowns
- Supporting maintenance schedules and budgets
- Communicates with operations department to co-ordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
- Follows procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness
- Assists with implementing plant improvements and expansions
- Maintains safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
