Overall mission
As Production Manager your overall mission is to direct and control customer projects to ensure their completion to the standards required within agreed timescales and budget level for the Business Unit.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and functionally to the Global Project Manager
Key accountabilities:
- Oversee projects, including coordinating with project managers working on projects to monitor progress and secure optimal project performance.
- Ensure that projects are implemented, and customer requirements are met with highest profitability for the company.
- Supervise and monitor the financial status of the project following SQDC criteria.
- Work closely with Sales in the quotation phase, including contract review, estimation, project plan, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate the work of units in the project for the optimum utilization of allocated resources, including if needed by internal requirements or customer requirements re-planning within agreed time, resource and financial goals.
- Coordinate with customers and relevant departments audits/visits to site or to the customer when required (CDR, PDR, FDR, FAI).
- Establish and maintain communication with customers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions, and standards: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Quality, Project Management procedures.
- Continuously contributes to improvement of processes, procedures, methods, and cost reductions.
- Train and monitor staff working on projects, including onboarding for new project managers.
- Communicate job expectations and coordination of workload of projects and needed resources.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with relevant project management methodologies such as PMI and project management software for documentation and data analysis reports.
- Strong leadership capabilities with ability to plan, execute, lead and motivate designated resources to ensure completion of projects.
- Entrepreneurship mindset and result oriented.
- Be an active listener with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong PC Skills including Microsoft packages.
- Fluent English skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to travel UK and abroad.
