As the Supervisor for the imports team, you will support the import customs department with operational efficiencies and deliver an outstanding service to their customers and European branches.

Day to day:

  • Support the Import Customs Manager and manage the department in their absence.
  • Allocate workloads to ensure declarations are completed accurately and within service deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team development.

  • Work closely with customers, internal departments, and international colleagues to resolve customs queries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety focused culture.

What experience do you need?

  • To have a leadership style that is approachable and calm
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for compliance.
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
