The Role: Transport Supervisor

Salary/Hours: Starting salary: £10.50phr. 

Position: Temp to Perm:

The Client: Family run business employing over 900 staff.

Job Profile:

• Managing approx: 40 drivers  and 8 picker loaders  
• Previous experience of route planning ideally using Paragon if not something similar.
• Tachograph management using software similar to Tachomaster.
• Road transport legislation competency IE understanding drivers hours rules and  the 2005 working time directive, for mobile workers.
• First line management of a driving team.
• Previous management of vehicle defects both in terms of reporting and rectifying in regards to paper work
• Experience of managing driving  infringements.Desirable CPC Qualified.
• Reporting to the Senior Transport Supervisor

Full time salary is 29k based on 50 hours Mon-Fri overtime paid for alternative sat am working plus one Sunday in a calendar month, potential earnings with overtime 33k per annum. Shift pattern mon to Friday 5am until 3pm ,followed by 9am to 7pm the following week , during initial training the successful candidate will most likely work 8am until 5.30pm
